I was once referred to an inspiring TED talk featuring Diana Nyad. Diana Nyad tells the story of her life long goal to swim 100 miles from Cuba to Florida. After 5 attempts and at the age of 64 her dream came true. Although swimming has nothing to do with Leah, Diana’s story reminds us to never ever give up. Diana’s mantra is ‘find a way.’ Excerpt from Diana’s TED talk ..”You have a dream and you have obstacles in front of you, as we all do. None of us ever get through this life without heartache, without turmoil, and if you believe and you have faith and you can get knocked down and get back up again and you believe in perseverance as a great human quality, you find your way.”

Leah has been coming to our clinic everyday since January and has clocked nearly 200 hours in the HBOT chamber. Leah has made incredible growth in her speach, focus, vocabulary and interaction with others. Leah just turned 4 a couple weeks ago. She has Microcephaly.
I know Leah’s parents have sought every funding possible to help finance the HBOT chamber to no avail. They are dedicated and determined to do all they can to help Leah and I know together we will find a way.
