This Friday, Trish…super athlete and one of our favorite clients heads out west for the Leadville Trail MTB 100 competition in Leadville Colorado. Not only is this ride 100 miles long, in one day mind you…the course runs on the high-altitude and extreme terrain of the Colorado Rockies! Not for the faint of heart. Trish is our second client to train for this same race using HBOT.
Dave Silloway owner of The Bike Zone in Greece completed The Leadville 100 race last year and was in the HBO chamber every day for an hour, two weeks prior to leaving for the race. Much to Dave’s surprise, not only did he complete the race he took 2 hours off of his previous time! Dave crushed it in just over 8 hours.
Trish’s goal on race day, August 15th is to finish 12 hours or under! We are all very excited for Trish as she has trained and worked so hard. To celebrate her victory on race day we are encouraging everyone to take a guess at Trish’s finish time. Who ever comes closest wins an hour in the hyperbaric chamber! Guess a time in hours, minutes and seconds between 8 and 12 hours for your chance to win.
